The State of the Art

The Driftless Review is pleased to announce our new series, “The State of the Art,” which begins this issue with an interview with Australian author Michael Wilding.   One of the prime movers of the Australian literary Renaissance of the 1970s and the author of more than 50 works of fiction and non-fiction, Wilding also started the first undergraduate creative writing program at a university in Australia.  He talks about how that came about in this interview.

We’ll continue next issue with interviews with Pulitzer-Prize winning journalist and Edgar Award winner Ken Amstrong as well as short pieces from faculty from different English-language writing programs on the European continent.
